- With nearly one quarter of all mammal species and one third of amphibians threatened with extinction, there is an urgent need to strengthen safeguards for wildlife and their habitats around the world.
- In just the last century, the planet has warmed by an average of nearly 1ºC. This might not sound like much, but on a global scale this represents a huge increase and creates unprecedented problems for people and wildlife.
- Our dependence on and carelessness with the world’s resources have caused irreparable damage. Today our precious planet is in deep crisis.
We work globally, regionally and locally to stop the degradation of our planet’s natural environment and build a future in which people can live in harmony with nature. From high-level policy and advocacy work to on-the-ground conservation activities – such as creating public engagement and involvement in environmental action and nurturing a green generation – we strategically focus on conserving critical places and species that are of particular importance to their habitat or to humanity. We can only achieve these aims with your support!
