As long as we live on planet Earth, there will be Earth Hour! It’s held each year on the last Saturday in March. Which means the next Earth Hour event will be Saturday 27 March 2010. Mark it on your calendar now!

Earth Hour began in 2007, when 2 million people switched off their lights in Sydney, Australia. In 2009, it became a global event involving more than 4,000 cities from 80 countries. In Hong Kong, 2.9 million people supported Earth Hour by turning off the lights for a brighter future.
